General Questions
What is the difference between a Masters II and a Specialised Masters?
The Master II (Professional or Research) is a diploma delivered to university students after 5 years of higher education in application of the reform of higher education known in France as “LMD” (Bachelor’s Degree – Master’s Degree- Doctorate) which aims among other things at the harmonisation of European post-graduate diplomas.
The Specialised Masters is a label of the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles and is aimed at students who already possess a Masters II (Professional or Research Masters, business and engineering school graduates) as well as holders of doctorates and working executives.
What is a Specialised Masters?
A Specialised Masters is a quality label attributed since 1986 by the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles, an association of the most prestigious business and engineering schools in France.
Appropriately for its long and short-term aims, the Specialised Masters enables you to build a privileged relationship with the corporate world, through the contents of the programmes, through meeting and working with professionals and through assistance with the development of your “professional project”.
A specialised Masters includes at least 350 hours of work, alternating theory and practice, group work and case studies, and it includes a professional mission.
What is a Master of Science?
The expression Master of Science is widely used throughout the world to designate post-graduate courses, advanced courses with specialised programmes, focussing on a particular theme, a clearly defined sector of activity, a precise profession.
A Master of Science degree is a genuine professional springboard, and the course is designed to respond to a specific corporate demand and to gain a number of years in a specific position. It may be accessible to holders of a Masters I.
Reims Management School offers a wide range of Specialised Masters and Masters of Science specialising in key corporate and consulting positions.

The group is also currently finalising its AACSB accreditation, the sign of excellence for all business schools, requiring a precise percentage of the faculty to hold doctorates.

There is no age limit.
How does the admissions process operate?
Selection is carried out via the study of the candidates’ application files. If this phase of the application is validated, the candidate is invited to an interview.
What is the purpose of the interview?
The interview is a crucial stage in the admissions process. The candidate must prepare for it with great care so as to convince the panel of his/her motivation and the appropriateness of the Masters programme chosen for his/her professional project.
The duration of the interview is of 30 minutes and the panel is made up of two members (the Course director and a member of faculty or an alumni).
When and by whom are the results of the admission process sent?
The results of the admission process are sent by the Admissions Department 10 days after the admission session.
I have been admitted, but am unable to take up my place this year. May I postpone my admission?

The TAGE MAGE test (Management Studies Aptitude Test) is not obligatory. However, if you obtain a good score this will strengthen your application.
I have passed an English Language test other than the TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS, may I provide this test as evidence of my level?
Indeed, only these three certificates are accepted to validate your application file.
Moreover, the date of your English test must not be more than two years before the beginning of the academic session chosen. Otherwise you will be asked to take a multiple-choice English test during the admissions session.
Who must provide the letters of recommendation?
