Life in the Masters programmes
A seminar on the risks of money laundering for the Financial Analysis Specialised Master's Course.
Financiers can no longer ignore deontology. The financial crisis has emphasised the importance of an unshakeable pairing: risk and profitability. Profitability at any price can no longer be the only driver. Risk must be taken into account, and notably the risk of money laundering. Such an idea may appear obvious, but secondary, in the sense that figures about this subject are mostly either little known or underestimated. Yet 1 000 billion dollars of “black” money, i.e. only money earned in crime (ignoring “grey” money, resulting from white-collar misdemeanours), is laundered annually!

The new academic year has begun for our 4 Master's programmes!
On September 30th 2010, 68 students from our 4 Reims Master's programmes were welcomed for the new academic year seminar at Reims Management School.

Activities then followed on academic discovery, personal development and self-knowledge (public speaking workshops, tour of the Cathedral, rowing, visit to a champagne cellar, etc.).
The groups' cohesion could be observed during the dinner organized in a renowned Reims restaurant with live music by a Jazz orchestra.
Welcome to all our students!

The asset management professions have been spared from the crisis!
Excellent hiring rates for graduates from the Specialied Master in “Private and Professional Wealth Management” of Reims Management School (RMS).
Last April, we awarded the degree to 28 students: 90% of whom found a job in the month following the end of the course, with an average starting salary of €30,000 excluding bonuses. They mainly took on jobs in Société Générale, BNP Paribas and Crédit Agricole private banking as well as in independent wealth management firms. Our partners are committed to offering us internships for the next academic year and confirm the high demand for our graduates.
New for October 2010 will be the setup of AMF certification (article 313-7-3), essential for practicing wealth management professions, and more focus on modules addressing the management of wealth and professional assets.

Last 16th of April, the RMS Masters' awards ceremony was a big hit.
Almost 80% of graduates attended, some with their parents, spouses and babies… making the event feel something like a family party!
In all, some 180 people applauded the traditional speeches given by the CCI Chairman and RMS Masters' Director and CEO, followed by the crowning of each attending graduate dressed, for the first time, in the traditional gown and mortar board.
On this occasion, a symbolic gift was handed out to each graduate with a token distinction for the top students to boot.
The Masters' Management Board would like to thank all those who helped to make this event so successful.

On Thursday, January 7th on the Paris Executive Campus, students on the Specialised Masters in Business Development & Key Account Management defended their professional thesis in before an informed jury of professionals and in the presence of sttudents.
Highly sought-after skills in the professions of developers are called on for this challenging exercise: defending one's proposal in public requires excellence in terms of both form and content, and this is essential today for successfully getting one's sales pitches across to a key account client in a complex and competitive environment.
The day was rounded off with a cocktail attended by all five classes of the Business Development Master's: a successful first, with a good forty participants! by Odile Letrillart, Director of the Specialised Masters in Business Development & Key Account Management
