The Certificates

The Certificates are fully taught in English through a wide range of learning methods – lectures and group learning, case studies, conferences. To provide additional industry insight, some sessions are delivered by professionals from this business sector. These modules are assessed by examinations and coursework.

Participants can be awarded a full MSc Finance and International Banking degree, if they obtain 2 of the 3 certificates offered.


Objectives

CERTIFICATE in ISLAMIC BANKING AND FINANCE

The programme provides students with:
  • A comprehensive understanding of Islamic financial institutions (organisation, structures and Regulations) and its economic, financial and legal environment
  • Knowledge in the key areas of Islamic Capital Market in both theoretical and applied aspects

CERTIFICATE in INTERNATIONAL BANKING

The programme provides students with:
  • A comprehensive understanding of financial institutions (organisation, structures and Regulations) and its economic, financial and legal environment
  • A full coverage of products and techniques relative to all the banking line of universal banks
  • Knowledge in the key areas of Capital Market in both theoretical and applied aspects

CERTIFICATE in FINANCE

The programme provides students with:
  • A CFA® preparation to level 1 examination. A self-learning is also required while in the CFA preparation
  • New ways of thinking and conceiving financial theory and operations through a top of the art module in behavioural finance
